Albany Kosher

Terms

What we do

A driver buys the groceries you choose at the Kosher Price Chopper, 1730 Central Ave, and brings them to you. We are not Price Chopper and are not affiliated with it or with SUNY.

Kosher

We deliver sealed packages exactly as the store sells them. We don't certify food or make kosher decisions: please check each item's symbol, in its photo and on the package, before using it.

Paying

When you order, we hold an amount on your card: your estimated groceries plus 20%, plus delivery. After delivery we charge only what your groceries cost on the store receipt, plus delivery, never more than the hold. The rest of the hold is released. The delivery fee is shown at checkout and goes to your driver.

Out of stock and photos

If something is out of stock, we skip it or ask you first, as you chose. When we send you a photo to check, we wait 10 minutes for your answer; if we don't hear back, we skip that item and you aren't charged for it.

Cancelling

You can cancel until your driver starts shopping, and the whole hold is released. After that, groceries may already be bought; email us and we'll sort it out with you.

Refunds

If something is missing or wrong, reply to your receipt email or write to info@albanykosher.app, and we'll refund it to your card.

Drivers

Drivers are SUNY students who work independently. They shop, scan each item and deliver; they don't decide what is kosher.
